“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose.” ~Dr. Seuss
This is my 12th year teaching 2nd grade., and my third year teaching at Butler. (My family and I moved here from Georgia in 2015). I have also taught Pre-K and teacher education courses at Gainesville State College and The University of North Georgia. I have been married for 18 years and I have a precious daughter, Madi, who is 8 years old. My favorite colors are purple and aqua. I love crafting, vacations, Georgia Bulldogs, and spending time with friends and family. Teaching is my passion and I love to see the light in students’ eyes when they learn something new!
